Delicious peanut butter cookies filled with M&Ms and chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup M&Ms
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- Cream the butter and both sugars together until light and creamy.
- Add the peanut butter and mix until combined. Then add in the egg and vanilla and mix just until combined.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Stir in the M&Ms and chocolate chips.
- Using a 2 tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop the dough and place on a lined baking sheet, at least 2 inches apart. If desired, press more M&Ms and chocolate chips into the cookie dough balls.
- Bake just until the cookies are browned around the edges, about 12 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool for several minutes before removing from the baking sheets to cool completely.
Notes
- Make sure the butter is softened for easier mixing.
- For chewier cookies, do not overbake.
