Description
Deliciously cooked sockeye salmon using an air fryer for perfect crispiness and flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz sockeye salmon (cut into 6-oz portions, de-scaled and rinsed under cool water)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp salt (to taste)
- ¼ tsp pepper (to taste)
- ¼ tsp paprika
- 1 lemon (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Thoroughly pat the rinsed sockeye salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- Brush each side of the salmon with the olive oil. Season evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, ensuring a single layer with room for air circulation.
- Cook at 390°F for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Once done, check doneness with a fork. If the salmon flakes apart easily, it’s ready. Serve immediately with lemon, if desired.
Notes
- Ensure the air fryer is preheated for best results.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
