Description

Deliciously cooked sockeye salmon using an air fryer for perfect crispiness and flavor.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz sockeye salmon (cut into 6-oz portions, de-scaled and rinsed under cool water)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp pepper (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 lemon (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly pat the rinsed sockeye salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Brush each side of the salmon with the olive oil. Season evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, ensuring a single layer with room for air circulation.
  4. Cook at 390°F for 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Once done, check doneness with a fork. If the salmon flakes apart easily, it’s ready. Serve immediately with lemon, if desired.
