Description
A delicious and creamy banana date smoothie that’s perfect for breakfast or a snack!
Ingredients

- 2 large bananas (peeled, sliced and frozen)
- 2 Medjool dates (pitted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup Greek yogurt (use plant-based yogurt for vegan)
- 1 cup whole milk (full-fat milk or skim, low fat, or plant-based milk)
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a blender.
- Tip: If the frozen bananas are too hard, then thaw them for 10 minutes.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add some more milk if the smoothie is too thick for your liking.
- Check for sweetness and add some sweetener (honey, maple syrup, etc.) if needed.
- Pour the smoothie into 2 serving glasses.
- Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top and serve immediately.
Notes
- This smoothie can be made vegan by using plant-based yogurt and milk.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your preference.
