Description
Delicious taco pinwheels made with tortillas, cream cheese, and a variety of toppings.
Ingredients

- 4 large flour tortillas (or whole wheat tortillas)
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey (seasoned with taco seasoning)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and taco seasoning until well blended.
- Spread a generous layer of the cheese mixture evenly over each tortilla.
- Layer the cooked ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, and cilantro on top of the cheese mixture.
- Starting from one end, carefully roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape.
- Wrap the rolled tortillas in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove from the refrigerator and slice into pinwheels about 1 inch thick.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
Notes
- These pinwheels are great for parties and can be made ahead of time.
- You can substitute the ground beef or turkey with shredded chicken or a vegetarian option if desired.
